About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Cream cheese (softened)

  • 1/4 cup Full-fat Greek yogurt

  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp Fresh dill (chopped; plus more for garnish)

  • 1 large English cucumber (sliced slightly diagonally, 1/4 inch thick)

  • 4 oz Smoked salmon (sliced thinly and cut into pieces)

Preparation

  1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture:

    • In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and garlic powder. Mash them together until well blended.

  2. Transfer to a Piping Bag:

    • Transfer the cream cheese mixture into a piping bag. If you don’t have one, you can easily make your own by snipping the corner of a ziplock bag.

  3. Arrange the Cucumber Slices:

    • Lay out the cucumber slices in a single layer on a platter.

  4. Pipe the Cream Cheese Mixture:

    • Pipe approximately 1/2 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto each cucumber slice.

  5. Add Smoked Salmon:

    • Top each cucumber slice with a folded-over piece of smoked salmon.

  6. Garnish and Serve:

    • If desired, garnish with additional dill.

    • The serving size is 4 cucumber bites, or approximately 1/10 of the entire recipe.

    • Keep in mind that the number of bites may vary depending on the size of the cucumber you use. For reference, I got 40 full-sized slices with mine.
